Trepando un árbol, verde brillante con ventosas en sus patas, casi de juguete, vi por primera vez a la ranita del zarzal o ranita de los árboles, junto a otros chicos cerca de la pileta, un verano.
Esta vez la volví a encontrar en la casa de Hudson. Caminábamos con un grupo por un sendero rumbo al arroyo "Las conchitas", cuando saltó. Primero pensé en una langosta por su coloración parda clara, pero me asombró su manera de saltar. Tenía la cámara en la mano y no pude reaccionar, fue más rápida. Asombrosamente, se perdió en el pastizal.
La ranita Hyla pulchella pulchella es pequeña de 35 a 45 mm, está asociada a la vegetación de la que toma su coloración. Puede ir del verde claro brillante al canela uniforme o con manchas. Se sabe defender muy bien usando el mimetismo y también segrega al contacto un olor desagradable. Es de hábitos nocturnos, por eso es difícil encontrarla de día.
Como toda rana canta, esta tiene tres tipos de canto : el nupcial, el de lluvia y el grito de angustia cuando es atrapada.

It was climbing a tree with bright green suckers on its feet , almost a toy . It was the first time I saw the frog of the bush or tree frog , along with other kids near the pool a summer .
This time, I found it at Hudson´s house . We were walking with a group along a path toward the creek " The shells " when it jumped. First, I thought it was a lobster for its clear brown color , but I was amazed how it jumped. I had the camera in hand and I could not react, it was faster . Surprisingly, it was lost in the pasture .
The frog Hyla pulchella pulchella is small from 35 to 45 mm .It is associated with the vegetation from which it takes its color .It can go from light green to bright cinnamon uniform or spotted . It can defend very well using mimicry and also secretes at the contact a nasty smell. It is nocturnal, so it is difficult to find during the day.
Like any frog sings. It has three types of songs : the wedding , the rain and the cry of anguish when it is caught .
